Anyone have wheel tubbs ?

I want to do my 87 Cougar in a pro touring theme with 345/30 r 19's in the rear on 19 x 12 rims and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to mini tubb the rear. Has anyone done something similar ? Do you have any pics ?

For a wheel that wide to fit(and not stick out), you're going to need more than wheel tubs. More like narrowing the rearend, and custom coilover shocks and 4-link suspension.

I know. However it starts with the tubbs. I have a quote from a local place (S&W race cars) for $ 4500 for roll bars, frame narrowing and wheel tubs installed with coilovers. i just wanted to know if anyone has done this.

I have not seen any of our members with a setup similar to that...good luck with your search.  And if you do this, make sure to post lots of pics/info.
