So...Somebody flipped the "hood scoop" around??

No, the 83's had the rear-facing scoop.

Nice car but please put a red positive battery cable on it before you have an oops.

WOW, nice looking Stang ya got there. I do have to say I personally hate red interior, but if it's nice enough I suppose I'd leave it in there!! LOL Nice find ya got there, most 83-84's seem to get the dreaded aero-nose swaps for some reason.....good to see one survived!!

Now i know why i needed a v8 car. i love my turbocoupe, theres no way i would trade it for anything, but the raw power of a v8 is amazing. i got my mustang this weekend. this cars definatly quick. runs good. got all the original parts with it.
Things i know that are on the car.

289 heads,
holley 650 double pumper.
edelbrock torker 2 intake.

dont know what cam.

so i cleaned both the cars up and took a pic:

I love them both! I tried to pick up a 1990 GT 5 speed a few months ago. Drove all the way across the state in my truck to go get it with my grandfather (to drive my truck back). I had cash in hand.. she was so pretty in the photos! Ended up being junk though, and in fact wasn't even in RUNNING condition when I got there and had the gauges all out and in the floor and cut, etc. Ugh.. she would have been wonderful. Looking back on it though, I'm glad I didn't get it because then my Thunderbird wouldn't have been looking as nice right now because I would have been too focused on the Mustang. My truck wouldn't have had the $2000 stereo setup and 20s, and suspension upgrades either. I'm glad it worked out well in the end anyway. :) I might still get a Mustang some day but I wont ever get rid of the Thunderbird.
