Sunrrof Seal "The Sunroof Dr"

Hey everyone,

I actually found the seal on listed here http://www.sunroofdoctor.com/8788thunderbird.htm through a google search of some archived thread on this board (http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/archive/index.php?t-401.html). At just under $70 this is half the price of the one from Ford. I was wondering if anybody has purchased it and what they thought?

I called up the company and the guy I spoke with said it was manufactured by the company that supplied Ford so it's oem fit and it's just not a part that Ford owns outright.

I'm planning on ordering it but just wanted to know if anyone had tried it.

haven't used one but let us know how it works. mine leaks with the shade open

Mine leaks every time it rains now (though part of it is I think the frame tweaked a bit when the strut tower broke). I'll let you guys know when I get it, I'll take some before and after pics and all that fun stuff. You really can't beat the price if it's oem style
