hell my rear main seal leaks too. i gotta get in there and fix it.

BTW, I had a 1988 T-Bird Sport way back when. I found out that it was totalled shortly after trading it in. It still has the ignition switch recall to date.

Yes... and it might not be the rear seal. I read somewhere recently that the flywheel bolts thread into the oil passage and thus must be sealed or they will allow oil to leak past them.

if you replaced the seals and did them right it wouldnt leak. so he didnt do it right and still wants top dollar for it :/
i dont have to comment on price as i think everything is too expensive.

If you had 8500 bucks to spend for a car that's not worth half of that, then you'd have an asphalt driveway! :hick:

I see the owner lowered the price....still about 2,500 too high for me tho.
