1987 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe SOLD February 04, 2010, 04:43:17 PM SOLDStepdad said he wants to sell it as he doesn't have the time to do anything with it since he's been working up in Northern NJ so here goes:I'm listing my 1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe (5 speed). Listing it simply because I haven't had the time to do anything with it and I'd rather see it go to someone who has more time to work on the car than I do. The car is in good shape with a very straight body and lots of new parts. The car is going to need front brakes soon and also is in need of sway bar frame bushings. Windows were tinted to 15% (front/side/rear/front brow) by dynamic tint in NJ. Drivers side door panel lower arm rest cracked in half so I threw it out, but kept the top of the arm rest as it was in good shape and also the door lock cover panel. Car comes with spare speaker covers, 2 PRS struts, 1 shock, 2 rear side windows and some other misc stuff. The car also has the map pockets, but they're not installed & will be included. In the photos you'll notice that 1 of the fog lights is missing..it's not missing, it's just in the trunk while I replace the bulbs. It will be installed prior to being sold. The car has approximately 113,410 miles or so, but that number is low because of the bad speedometer drive gear or speed sensor (1 of the 2) that was replaced by the previous owner so that car probably has 140-150,XXX. Car is inspected until 5/10 or 6/10 (not sure of the exact month) in PA.Please don't mind the road dust on the car as the weather in SE PA has been rocky over the past few weeks. The car was tuned by Brian Larkin (BJL) from TSTACC & NATO a few months agoHere's a list of parts added to the car by the previous owner and myself:PREVIOUS OWNER-Brakes - 18 months agoTires - maybe 6-7k on themWalbro 255 fuel pump w/correct sock - 2 years agoGas tank- 2 years agoRack and pinion - 12 months ago same for the rest of front end partsBall jointsControl arm bushingsSway bar end linksAlternatorBeltsIgnition switch -2 years agoClutch Pressure plate pilot bushing 4/10/09Trans MountRear main seal 4/10/09Speedometer drive gear 4/10/09Speed sensorPRC struts - came off a parts car that had receipt after accident 26k miles on themAC converted to R134Radiator - 2 yrs agoHeater core - 2 yrs agoNew Ford headlights - 1 year agoME-Oil change- 110,500 (Mobil 1 5w40 turbo diesel oil with bosch oil filter)Plugs- Autolite 764 (111,500)Wires- Motorcraft (111,500)Cap- BDW (111,500)Rotor- BDW (111,500)Pcv Valve- Motorcraft (111,500)Timing belt (111,500)Fuel filter- Purolator (111,500)See photos here:http://gallery.andrewshemo.com/index.php/Miscellaneous-Photos/Cars/turbo-coupeContact me- Andrew @ 610-809-2316 or by PMI'm located in SE PA near Philadelphia Quote Selected
