" SMALL-BLOCK MADNESS"  We built and raced the car in the early 80s and retired it to the street for the odd sat night/sun cruise after it became a conflict with our business (farming and electrical contracting) which ate up the summer hrs.

Wow. I'm finicky with the 83-86s...and that first pic is BADASS. Wow. Something about that whole combo is just awesome. Seems like everyone rocks the Cobra R's but ya know....they work! Love the comet too, looks like a lotta fun no matter which set of keys you take. :D

Thanks, the fun factor is there. The comet has a top-loader/5.43s and the cougar a HO/ T-5/4.10s....real cars have 3 pedals.:burnout:

You've just fueled me to locate a cougar like that...hopefully for free :)

Does anyone else find it harder to find cougars than thunderbirds? I can never seem to find a fox cougar here in florida...

Yup, always harder to find a Cougar than a Thunderbird.

I've always liked the rear shots like that on the 83-84 Cougars.

That color is just a rare color, and really makes the car stand out too.  That's the same color of the '84TC I had that I sold a few years ago.

Your Cougar is very very nice.  I am at work and when I saw that 1st picture I said "!" outloud.  lol.  The grey painted Cobra's work perfectly with that paint color.  A few months ago their was an exact twin to that car at a local car lot (except stock with V6)...I wanted it but the wife said no.

What size tire are you running on the Cobra R's?  Are they 16's or 17's?  I am going to go with a taller/wider tire on my 'bird and I like the way yours look!

Oh one more thing; MORE PICS please!

I like the color on your Cougar, it's different you don't see that too often. I love the Comet! That thing's sweet!
