Some good news for my wife January 26, 2010, 05:26:53 PM Well to get everyone up to date, on november 4,2009 my wife was rushed to the er with chest and back pains and numbness in her face and left arm. When we got there the er doctor said her blood pressure was 258 over 153. The results was a mild stroke at the er. She decided to go to her grandma's family doctor because her most of her famliy goes to her. Ok now my wife's new doc send her for stress testing and blood test standerd proceedure for whats happen. The test results come back and her new doc says she is going to need open heart surgery. Mandy my wife is crushed crying and scared cause this doc told her it was a 50/50 chance. I was like woo nelly do what and demanded a second opion but by a heart specialist. After some aruguing we got the appt. Well we went to the heart specialist today to find out that 1.she didnt have a heartattack 2. her heart condition is very minor and can be controled with bloodpressure medication 3. her so called family doctor is just a nurse practitioner not a doctor as she claimed and she has been reported for this issue. So we r looking for a new family doctor now. As we were leaving town coming home my wife said that this is the best news she has gottin in a long time and that her 30th bday this upcoming sunday is going to be the best one for her cause she feels like she has got a new leash on life after worring 4 the past 3 months. Just felt like sharing whats been good news for my family. Quote Selected

Some good news for my wife Reply #8 – January 27, 2010, 04:10:20 PM thank you all for the kind words. yes she is happy its amazing how much better she feels just from hereing the news. she's just not depressed like she was. she even went out this morning and got some job apps. it will be nice to have a second income in the house if she gets one ,she hasnt worked a job in 9 or 10 years . but yes a second opion was what needed to be done .
