This is just an idea here, and if there is not enough interest, then the idea will be canned.
First off: This would not be a combo race. Think of it as an invitation to show off your machines.
In an effort to showcase the fine looking cars that class racers have in the area, I would love to see Stockers and Super Stockers run @ US60 Dragway in Hardinsburg, KY (1/8th mile)
Ohio Valley has a combo race Sat. June 4th.
Beech Bend has a combo race Sat. July 3rd.
In between those dates, on Sat. night, June 18th @ US60, there is a Declared Index Race.
There are 6 of these races scheduled this year and we have had positive feedback with this type of racing format in the past.
* There are 35 fixed indexes spread 2 tenths of a second apart, so most drivers should be able to get close to one of the posted indexes.
* The index you declare becomes your dial-in for the entire race and cannot be changed.
* .500 full sportman tree, so foot brakers have a chance.
* No delay box or throttle stops.
The entry fee at the gate is $ 15.00 and this is the only race this night that slicks are allowed. (if by chance you had DOT tires, you could run 4 races this night all for $ 15.00 @ the gate)
Now...if there were 16 or more class racers show up, I would ask J.D. and Judy (the track owners) to allow the class racers to run in their own Index Race.
If there are 15 or less, then everyone would run in the regular D.I.R. and the class racer that progresses the furtherest into eliminations would be the winner.

In the event that 2 or more class racers go out before the final round, and there is a 2, 3, 4, or more way tie, then the class racer with the best reaction time would be the winner.
