A couple of New Years day mods... Reply #1 – January 01, 2010, 06:49:57 PM Nice! Looks good. I'm gonna try to do this to my bird when I can find one. Is that your 86? Quote Selected
A couple of New Years day mods... Reply #2 – January 01, 2010, 08:04:52 PM Thanks! No, this is the dash of my 84. My 86 has a gutted dash, no AC, radio or anything else. Quote Selected
A couple of New Years day mods... Reply #3 – January 01, 2010, 08:17:22 PM Cool. I have an 84 as well. Was it difficult to do? Quote Selected
A couple of New Years day mods... Reply #4 – January 01, 2010, 08:23:58 PM I made it a bit more difficult for myself because I didn't want to cut any of the car's wiring. I made a harness for the Tripminder with parts from a digital clock so it is plug and play with the exception of the fuel and speed wires which just need to be tapped. The stereo is from a 87-88 TC. I had to cut the connectors from the 84 stereo and attach those to the TC stereo pigtail. Overall pretty easy. My goal was to upgrade but with period correct parts. Quote Selected
