New guy from Philly December 15, 2009, 11:11:54 AM been lurking here for a little bit. just figured i would introduce myself. i have owned several cougars, but i had 2 88 xr7s. first one i got handed down to me at 16.i loved it, but i never really appreciated it. so i bought another one when i was 21. swapped an HO from a 92 LSC, T5 conversion, 5 lug swap with chrome cobra r's, and TC hood. drove it like that for 4 years and i just pulled the motor for a 351 lightning swap and picked up a fiberglass cowl hood. let me know what ya thinki got it from a high school friends mom. had a pretty bad rod knock and the trans had no overdrive. but it only has 87k original miles. New guy from Philly Reply #7 – December 15, 2009, 06:55:16 PM Nice XR7...those '03 Cobra wheels look good on there. Look to be 17x10 on the rear? You need to drop it a little and it will really be looking tough. So its getting a 351? Quote Selected

New guy from Philly Reply #11 – December 15, 2009, 10:42:42 PM Yo! Welcome. Your Coug looks really good. I grew up in Philly, many many years ago - Juniata Park. Graduated from Frankford. I drove my t-bird to Frankford's Senior prom when it was brand new (that should give you some idea of just how friggin' old I am). The family is all still there and I still drive up almost every weekend. My brother is Philly PD in the 15th. Go Eagles!!! Quote Selected
