7.5" 3.73s pulled from??

Going to the JY.  Anyone know what had the 7.5" rear end and 3.73 rear gears?  Aerostars, Rangers...?

Thanks,
Dan

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I believe most Aerostars have 3.73s... I have a long wheelbase, passenger Aerostar that has 4.10s...

The aerostar i got my posi from (5sp w/ tow package)  had 3.53s but I didn't grab the pinion.  If i cant find a 373s i will just get the pinion and put the 3.53s in.  I'll let you know what I find.

i have 3.73's in my 84 mustang gt. i have a set of 3.45's on the shelf out of an aerostar. last week in the junkyard, i looked at a ranger axle that said 3.72...yes, 72, not 73....i know it makes no difference, but its what it had

why would you find chevrolet rear end parts on fords :hick:

like said way above 87-93 automatic 2.3 mustangs will have the 3:73 rears, the manuals have 3:55 standard.
