It'll get restored now.[/COLOR]86 Bird in Ridgecrest, Ca. for sale. $500 or make me an offer I simply can't refuse. I'd prefer someone fix it up or at least use the body. Many, many good parts and glass. I don't wish to do the work to fix or part it out. The tranny alone is worth the asking price. I am willing to deal. How about a trade? I have an 82 Cougar wagon that I really could use a dash pad and new steering wheel with the cruise control buttons in it. That alone would be worth the trade. Use your imagination. I'm willing to talk turkey just to get it gone. How about a functional 1982 AM/FM with 8 track? A set of 10 hole 4 lug wheels? I'm not willing to give it away to a salvage yard as the body is very straight and most of the important things are still very good i.e. Drive train and brakes etc. Cash is not the object but as I've said willing to consider about anything. Unless you bring new tires it'll have to be trailered home.PM me and I'll get back to you. I don't have computer access at home so I'll contact you on Monday if you PM me on a weekend or after work hours on Fridays.This car drives and runs fine. 107,000 miles 3.8 liter V6 with 6,000 miles on rebuilt C5 Transmission.Body is rust free. All but the rear seat in the interior has no tears.All lights work.Dash pad has begun to crack.Missing visors and dome light.P/S, P/B (new), Cruise, P/W all work. Tilt steering column. Right hand PDL doesn't work so good. A/C, Radio and heater are all bad. A/C has High Pressure hose leak, Heater core leaks and the stock Ford radio is toast.Tires are .You must come and pick up the car. I will not arrange for shipping nor will I get the emissions check done, although I'm sure it will pass.New brakes and master cylinder and new O2 sensors.
