Yellow jackets MUST DIE!!!!! Reply #15 – September 13, 2009, 06:13:42 PM Quote from: ProTouring442;291057The bees started coming and going from the nest as if nothing had happened!Which is EXACTLY why I didn't burn it. Anyone that didn't come home last night was in for a real treat when they did this morning. Need to go check on 'em, and see if they need another drink. Quote Selected
Yellow jackets MUST DIE!!!!! Reply #16 – September 14, 2009, 02:57:46 AM I use a combo approach. I like to think of it as "shock and awe".I use gas down the entrance, and the light it. I have a 2 inch diameter pole 4 feet long. I pound that in the ground, wait for the buzzing to die down, pour gas down the hole, and drop a 1/4 stick down it, lit. light the gas, drop the cracker, yank the pole out and run.Think"bunker buster".I DO have to fill the craters, but its totally worth it. Yellow jackets MUST DIE!!!!! Reply #20 – September 14, 2009, 10:12:43 PM Agreed I'm one of those allergic people (stepped on one and ended up on crutches for a week from the swelling!) I'd have been a gas and fire person, or maybe some thermite for good measure, who doesn't like a good burn? Quote Selected
