...but an interesting custom I think.  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mercury-Cougar-XR7-ford-mercury-cougar-custom-car_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem1c0c5a3d11QQitemZ120466324753QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks

Yes should be in LEADS but I know *I* havent seen a job like that anyway, where someone smoothed over the bumpers completely and not only that, closed the gaps. Fiberglas I'm guessing, hopefully the job was done right.

Just thought it was neat to see one of our cars done up as a "shaved and smoothed" custom.
1987 20th Anniversary Cougar, 302 "5.0" GT-40 heads (F3ZE '93 Cobra) and TMoss Ported H.O. intake, H.O. camshaft
2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC
Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...
1988 Black XR7 Trick Flow top end, Tremec 3550
1988 Black XR7 Procharger P600B intercooled, Edelbrock Performer non-RPM heads, GT40 intake AOD, 13 PSI @5000 RPM. 93 octane

I'd like to see how the 2nd alternator got mounted up.

1996-97 Cobra wheel straight but weathered (For Sale)
84 TC manual shifter handle no  (For Sale)

BTW, I had a 1988 T-Bird Sport way back when. I found out that it was totalled shortly after trading it in. It still has the ignition switch recall to date.

Special thanx to EricCoolCats for showing me to this site.

Probably down on the bottom where the smog pump used to be.

Real nice how the bumpers are shaved but the interior looks like the inside of a padded cell.

Nice work, but I have to agree with the others here.  Interior, and wheels, meh.

Bingo.  If you look real close, you can see the top.  Pretty smart idea.

I'm not crazy about it, but it doesn't look horrible.
