Hello

My name is Ryan, I live in Panama City, FL.

I currently have an '88 T/C and an '87 GT ragtop which is slated to get turbo power (either 2.3T or a 5.0T, whichever parts I run into first)..

I've been over on NATO since 2003 and TF since 2005, some of you may recognize me here. :)  Anyway just checking things out, seems to be a great forum!  Hopefully I'll remember to check back. :D

Welcome!

The comment on "when I was 16" got me thinking.... I was 2 years out of high school when my Turbo Coupe was new!

My dad got me into them shortly before he passed away.  I ended up getting one after the fact just because it would be something to remember him by, and then they ended up being my favorite cars! :)

Yep. My son is abut your age and we're partners in our TC parts. I remember reading your tale of woe back then and we decided you needed a freebie. Glad everything worked out. This is a great forum with lots of helpful people. Remember to check back, it will be worth it.

I still appreciate that to this day, even though that particular car was a lost cause.  It was literally one BIG problem after the next, all the way up until I sold it as a parts car for 400 measly dollars.  I ended up getting a T/C in Virginia after that with 80K on it..  sold that, got a 5.0 Mustang, and couldn't resist temptation recently when I bought another '88 T/C with 220,000 on it. :)
