Long Dry Spell Broken... August 27, 2009, 03:20:20 PM Bought my first TC today in about five years... Ain't nuthin' special excepting for the paint(and isn't great)... Has the uber rare 3Z Titanium Frost paint, only avail in late spring/early summer of '88... First one I've actually seen... This is the good side, has a ugly dent in the LR otherwise would be decent... Still it's 5 speed, has 135K mi, runs OK and cost $310, I ain't complaining... Quote Selected

Long Dry Spell Broken... Reply #4 – August 27, 2009, 04:25:23 PM No sticker, neither does my red one...Until a there was a post about one over on NATO a couple months back, I too doubted the existence of the 3Z paint on a '88... Interesting he's in FL and that's where this one is from as well... Quote Selected

Long Dry Spell Broken... Reply #13 – September 04, 2009, 09:49:27 PM I wonder if that's a different Titanium Frost than the 1991 one. These are the only Titanium Frost samples I could find:http://mustangattitude.com/cgi-bin/colorcodedisplay.cgi?comm=M6401&button=Searchhttp://www.silvermustangs.com/silverhistory.htmlThe code is different though, it's YX instead of 3Z. It looks darker and bluer than silver. Is this how your car looks? Here are some pics of Titanium Frost Mustangs. To me they don't look the same as yours, but it's hard to tell from just one pic.http://mustangattitude.com/cgi-bin/picsearch.cgi?modl=Mustang&year=1991&cond=normal&excl=titanium+frost+gray+silver&incl=All&rfcl=All&roof=All&ownr=All&emai=All&loca=All&vinn=All&post=All&sett=All&show=All&view=exterior&optn=&comm=&page=1According to these guys, the paint is the same (M6401), but I'm beginning to wonder.http://sspmustang.org/forums/showthread.php?t=4876&page=4&pp=10I couldn't find any color swatch for "3Z", so I wonder if what you have is even rarer than we think.
