Ventings!!

How many times does something with your ride mess up?! How many times you fix something, only to have another problem?! :toilet: Even, just a simple bolt can cause the most frustrations...

I guess were all apart of the month club now!! :shakeass:

This is no fun at all!! first, head gaskets, then, still, coolant leaks and oil spills! Then to top it off, gas tank straps let go. The biggest problem; no where to bolt those straps! Rusted right through!!

Rant Rant Rant and vent Vent vent... let me hear yours so maybe im not the only one with a lemon car it seems?

it's not a lemon,it's just that the car is over 20 years old.A lot of things are never checked or noticed until bad things happen (rust for example).Sometimes what appears to be big problems aren't always as involved to fix as they seem, sometimes, what appears to be the smallest problems can really give us cause to sit and gather our thoughts.Fix one thing at a time and it'll come together.I've replaced nearly every single part on my Sport. From the complete drivetrain and suspension,to every bolt on panel (doors, hood fenders, trunk lid),interior, exhaust, everything. So,I do know how you feel......except for the rust thing. We don't have to worry about that  down here.I just took it one step ata time....as I'm STILL doing after nearly 3 years with the Sport this November. It's been a long road, but I wouldn't give the car up.

Where is the oil and coolant leaking from on your car?Have you fixed the head gaskets yet?If not,it may be a good idea to just pull the engine from the car, replace all the gaskets, and call it good.It really doesn't cost that much for a gasket set from oil pan to intake. Can your brother do that for you?If you have a weekend,it can be done.If you have another car to drive, then that gives you even more time to do it.It's probably worth the time and effort to cure the leaks and spills.

For the gas tank you can sometimes get some threaded rod and drill through a more solid part of the trunk and use that to attach some new gas tank straps.

otherwise you have to probably fix the trunk well and make new mounts. Not really a fun time
