Q:Floor pans quick question

Hy, quick question about floor pans & subframe connectors. Does 79-93 mustang floor pans & subframe connectors from maximum motorsport fit 88 thunderbird?

its easier to use flat stock for the sub frame connectors. There is no curve on the cougar/bird underside. What is the question about the floor plan?

I wouldn't think that they would fit right.Our cars are longer between the wheels than the Stang.Meaning,the front and rear sub frames are further apart.

I think if you used parts of the floor for a repair you would be ok.
I believe the pans have been stamped with diff. designs in them too.
It can be made to work a lot easier then making them from scratch like I did.

here's a good rebuild of a mustang. much along what I did to my car. There's a good pic of the floor pan replacement, if you want to get an idea of the difference.

Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D

I used 2X2 tubing on my SFCs and cut them through the floor. You need about 5' per side.

Not sure how much of your floor is rotted... you might also have to use some sheet metal if you try to make the stang pans work.
