I FINALLY snapped some pics of my '86 TC!

I've owned it for 3 years and these are the first pics I've taken. They're not great but it gives you an idea. Bought it for $900 then proceeded to put $900 worth of wheels and tires on it! Replaced the clutch and m/c, relocated the TFI, installed a ported E6, fabbed a CAI, added gauges and a stereo, fixed all leaks and gave it a good cleaning. 175k and counting! Drive it daily, rain or shine. Never breaks down. Quite possibly the best car I've ever owned! I absolutely love it!!

Nice. Seats look amazing, especially with the mileage.

Now all it needs is a bit of a drop.

Wow man, haven't seen you around in a long time, especially since I stopped visiting mustangforums.

Thanks for all the accolades guys!  Here's some interior pics, as requested.  The interior is a little dirty so please excuse my messiness.  The first pic is one of the only pics I have from the first day I bought it in May 2006................

I sold the 10-holers for $150 on craigslist.

A couple of overall interior shots...................

I installed 6 gauges.  The W/T, O/P, Fuel & Volts are some cheap Eqqus units but hey, they're world's better than the factory stuff!...........................

Closeup.....................

The A/F and Boost gauges are Stewart Warner but wouldn't you know it, 1 of the GOOD gauges is screwed up.  The light works when it wants to on the air/fuel gauge.  Probably a loose solder connection inside.  When it doesn't work, I give it a good smack on the side and it lights up!

I didn't have any room for the fuel gauge and I don't smoke, so I threw it in the ashtray.  It's not a gauge that you have to constantly monitor so when I want to check my fuel level I just flip the door up.  After I see what it is, flip the door down.

Here's a shot of the trunk area, also.........................

T3skidoo - Wheels are Cobra knockoffs 17"x8".

DVP - I wholeheatedly agree!  It needs to be dropped 1-1/2"!

Tbird232ci - Things are great!  Thanks for asking!  I finally got Thunderstang running although it's not on the road yet but that will change any day now!  I'll toss in a pic of the motor here.........................

My 88 T-bird is from California and we both seem to have the same problem: a cracked dash top. I eve have the same dash rug on mine that you do :hick:

beautiful car man. I'm really wanting a 4 eyed bird, and this only made it worse!

I honestly don't think you should lower it. I like that offroad kind of stance....
