86 Cougar XR-7 June 18, 2009, 11:30:44 PM First of all, I am new to this message board. Secondly here is my story of the new car.My girlfriend and i just bought this car a couple weeks back. I have always loved the T-Bird Turbo Coupes, i had two 88's (one was a wrecked a few years ago. and the other i sold to my brother to pay for classes)I really regretted selling the last turbo coupe i had but atleast it is still in the family. So anyway we found this cougar XR-7 for sale and i thought why not its practically the same car as a t-bird. I must say, i love the car (except for the auto trans)I have bought a hood from an 88 TC that i will put on as soon as i get it painted. I also have bought a set of turbine wheels from an 88 mustang GT that will be going on shortly.Just wanted to say hi to all my fellow fox t-bird/cougar enthusiasts Quote Selected
