These two lables reside along the edge of the container to which the flaps were manipulated as to cover up the portion that shows the related 56 ford thunderbird data.Viewing the container in its shipped state does not expose the ford 56 thunder bird info until you undo the opposing flaps.I remove contents and find as stated sealed in the package (insert item here) with a part number / description of:One(item name here)4D47-732 (insert specific item type here)Lt Sand Beige.Any thoughts ? Auto Custom Carpets Inc, your thoughts Reply #3 – June 17, 2009, 07:45:38 AM Are these supposed to be the 20th Ann car mats you just bought? If so, it sounds like someone reused a box and never took off the labels. Either that, or you got screwed....mmmmm Quote Selected

Either that, or you got screwed....mmmmmpart one is yes.I wouldnt say that to part 2, just discussing what i can see at the moment. Now you all can see why it pays to , Measure twice and cut once well in advance to learn what you are about to do.Sold on the basis they are new sill in the original box. I cant say it isnt the original box, I can only say that the box seems to be from a time fram 12 years ahead in time based soley on the ups lables generated by ACC.I do not wanna say one way or the other, i do need to find out if "4d47-732" is the original PN for the mats.<< this is the bottom line for historical purposes, thats all. They look wonderful though and im not disappointed about the product(s), the very opposite to say the least. If you're pleased with the product, I wouldn't care about the packaging and where its been and what the code reads. There are bigger worries in life to focus that much attention on, I think :hick:. Auto Custom Carpets Inc, your thoughts Reply #6 – June 17, 2009, 11:57:13 AM Baxo,,that wasnt the goal,,I just wanted to find out where they came from since the containers do not line up with the time line especially since there is a 12 year gap.Called the company "Special Intrest Cars" and spoke to the very woman whos name is on one of the lables. This companys buisness unit supports 50's, 60's and 70's cars. She said during the earlier time frame I mentioned, we would go into dealerships and purchase NOS parts that were obsolete or no longer being supported. Her grandson could have possibly found these on the shelf and put them on ebay a couple of years ago. She said that there are many parts on shelves that could need a box and perhaps these mats were placed inside a box that was handy. She said that they do not make car parts but collect NOS pieces from various resourses and anything special would have been ordered from a company qualified in the resto world to make it after market. She said these mats were likely bulk from a dealership somewhere with surplus stock they purchased. The 20th is not on thier list as a special interest car because it is made in the 80's.So...Now im down to the sticker part number on the mat wrapping. Time to make another call , once i figure out who that will be. Quote Selected
