help with trans question?

can i change the bellhousing on a 87 tc 5 speed to work in a 5.0 fox?
88 TC project

78 malibu project

88 s10 blazer turbo 350 project

i belive you can but if you have 3.73's or 4.10'sthe first gear will be usless and the trans is not as strong as the v8 t-5.so i wouldn't use it in a high performance applacation.

You wouldn't want to would be a better way of answering it. The i-4 bellhousing can be used with a probe piliot bushing. If I remember right.
