lonely T-bird June 09, 2009, 10:06:26 AM About 5 miles away from me there is an abondoned house with a 83-86 t-bird in the yard. Does anyone know how i can get ahold of it without breaking any laws. Quote Selected

In Florida it's the Property Appraisers office and the owner info is online, but whoever is responsible for collecting taxes on the land will know the owner's address. If the car doesn't belong to them they can likely tell you who owns it or at least authorize you to remove it from their property if it's abandoned. The DMV should be able to tell you how to legally obtain title to an abandoned vehicle.Or you could invest $50 or so and consult an attorney for a half hour. Quote Selected

Its like your responding to someone telling you that you have a buddy with a truck and a chain and you are agreeing to it.its not illegal to know a buddy with a chain and a truck.:flip:seriously,, just go to the tax asessors office and from there, its all public information.around here you would write to the owner and wait for them to reply.
