5.0 heads / emissions

on the back of each head is 3 holes for EGR and air pump.  2 holes close to the bottom and 1 hole a little higher up.  does anyone know the sizes of the threads by any chance?  also,  i'm not near the car and can't picture the routing.....  Which holes are for egr and which are air pump?    lastly,  is there a trick to getting a wrench back there to remove (and then plug up) without lifting the engine or heads?

a customer of mine removed the smog control on his mustang and i think a 5/8 pipe plug will fit. but i never saw the holes he was plugging but i remember they were on the back side of the head.

there are only 2 holes to plug the rest don't lead to anything. 1/2" wrench on the Thermactor tube. Use 5/8 x11 course thread bolts to plug them. No engine lifting of any sort just need to patiently feel around.

from the little bumpbs inside the exhaust ports, that channels through the intake manifold.
