Anyone have a pic of my Type 6 mounts installed?

Looking for a pic of my 5.0 mounts installed to get an idea of header clearance for another item I may be working on.

Danke.

Do you need an in-car pic, or would it work just being on a stand?

I have HO (stock) headers and your mounts..can snap a few pics if you need. The engine is on the stand, I can put the mounts on and
grab the camera. :D

I'm just curious of mount-to-header clearance, so on a stand would be fine.

I know they get closer to some aftermarket headers, but this will give me an idea.

Pics from below would probably be the best bet.

Either post them here, or email them to me @ cwarren@indy.net

Thanks

Here's a couple with bbk's, I took a few but these seem to make sense more, I think.

Here are some pics of mine.  I'm not sure what you need so I tried to take from several positions.

Here are some more...sorry for the piss poor quality.  Its hard to get good pics of something like this!  Hope this helps Chuck and just let me say again, THANKS for making these mounts.  They are one of the best pieces I have bought for the car.

Thanks for the pics guys.  I'm guessing you guys have different sets of BBKs headers?

Kitz, yours look closer to the mounts than 50tbird88's.

(BTW, 50tbird88...kinda looks like you tightened the center bolt down a bit much...  I'm guessing you stopped it on the center sleeve? It doesn't need to be that tight.  Just enough to take out any slack in the bushing stack).

I think that gives me what I need for the time being.

Thanks!

My headers are bbk 1515 and yeah I wasn't sure on how much to tighten those center bolts.

Well I don't know what the differences are in the headers since I'm not a 5.0 guy.  Loks like you have miles of clearance though.

On the bushings, too much preload isn't good for the bushings, and they usually come ready to go out of the box.  If you can get in there and back then off a bit, you might do that.

Yeah I sure do have a lot of room in there with the headers I am running.

And I will loosen the top bolts up a few rounds.  I initially installed them as they come out of the box but I guess I overbuttstuffyzed the situation and (wrongly) decided to tighten them down some.

Thanks Chuck.

I don't have that note in all of the instructions, but I  plan on putting it in there.  I have usually only included it for those that required the end user to tighten that bolt and not for those I ship assembled and ready to go.
