birds and cats on Atlantic time Reply #1 – April 29, 2009, 05:16:54 PM I'm in Nova Scotia, so I'm in the Atlantic time zone (an hour ahead of New York) but I'm afraid that Thundergrowl, who is in Newfoundland, would still beat us by a half hour... Quote Selected

Well, not quite the ocean for the sunset... the Minas Basin, actually, but it's still salt water and you can't see land on the other side, so it's ocean enough :hick:BTW, t3skidoo: Where are you at? I was always under the assumption that the only parts of North America on Atlantic time were the Maritime provinces of Canada and Labrador. Unless, of course, you're in the Dominican Republic or Puerto Rico... Quote Selected
birds and cats on Atlantic time Reply #5 – April 29, 2009, 07:21:03 PM You're right, I don't know of anywhere in the US that's on Atlantic time. I'm "in the middle", but will be up in your neck of the woods here in a month or so, PEI and NS. Quote Selected

In Nova Scotia, so I can head down the Highway I live on to see the sun rise over Country Harbour, or head 1/2 hour the other way to see it set over the Northumberland Straight. Quote Selected
