what letters do what

I didn't know they had an ABC designation.

If it is a Fox T/bird/Cougar we are talking about the wire colors are:
V Ref--Orange/White
Sig Rtn--Black/White
TP Sensor--Dark Green/Light Green

its a tps of a 5.0 ho a b c is the name of the 3 teminals on the plug
or i'm wrong.
i put an 5.0 ho plenum from a 91-93 t-bird on my 88
i dont have the original connector
thats why im looking for the terminal i.d

any generic connector from amp,tyco, airpax, hubble and the like will name the pin-outs on the connector in letters or numbers , such as would be the case on generic but "standardized" relays.  Ive seen what your talking about but it is not important an you must understand why.  Each color wire lands per the EVTM,, so that is how it must be wired.

you just need to go to the top of electrical tech and click on the EVTM sticky,, or go to my diy link and there are many topics you can click on that have wiring diagrams inside the thread i have listed.
