83-86 Full Kamei Ground Effects (8 piece) March 11, 2009, 07:11:42 PM Alright well I have contemplated this a lot, whether or not I should sell these. But i decided to do so. Up for sale are the following: 1 Complete set of an 8 piece Kamei Ground Effects kit. It is Plastic and this kit has never been painted. The double sided tape is still even attached to the backside (Although I'd recommend replacing it). It even comes with Kamei emblems and a video (I've never looked at the tape so I don't know what it is, I assume it's some sort of instructional video). This kit is like the one 83 Heritage has on his. $1000 or best offer. I'm not sure whether or not these prices are reasonable but we'll see soon enough. My location is Welland (Niagara Falls area), Ontario, Canada Postal code: L3B 4T7 I'd love to have someone pick them up or willing to drive a little bit to meet up with someone. 83-86 Full Kamei Ground Effects (8 piece) Reply #7 – March 12, 2009, 12:53:19 PM yes the front piece is definitely the same as Andrew Beetle's.Also note the rear piece has 2 large thunderbird symbols embossed in it, that are pretty much the width of the taillights.. the kits 100% work on cougars too, hell i was gonna put it on a cougar.. 83-86 Full Kamei Ground Effects (8 piece) Reply #14 – March 13, 2009, 01:15:00 AM yep thats is the kit I have on mine but I have different side skirts. I would buy it but I already have three sets so Im good. :D My side skirts are actually modified GTS fiberglass skirts for the 87-88 thunderbirds. I found that the fittment of the Kamei GFX side skirts to be not that great and was not happy so I used the GTS skirts instead because they were fiberglass and I was able to modify them to work and fit perfect. The three piece design for the front and rear valance kind of sucks too but it works I guess. Someday I will replicate the front and rear valances out of fiberglass as a one piece design but not today. Quote Selected
