Google Maps - Street View February 10, 2009, 06:29:45 PM This is hilarious. Anybody on the face of the earth can look at a car I no longer own, which is parked in front of a house in which I no longer live. Technology.Privacy is going the way of the Dodo. Quote Selected
Google Maps - Street View Reply #1 – February 10, 2009, 07:34:00 PM Dear god I never even knew anything like that existed. I've used google earth before, but didn't realize they had anything like that!!! Couldn't a terrorist use that to map out an attack or something? Quote Selected

Google Maps - Street View Reply #3 – February 10, 2009, 08:09:12 PM You can't get that kind of view just anywhere. Most, yes. Try goggling over some restricted areas. You won't even get to see a house. That is pretty cool. I would save that if it were mine, or were mine. You use to be able to see my black cat where it sat the previous owners driveway, not that close, but you could tell it was the car anyway. Too bad they didn't take the shot while you were in the car, that would really have been sweet. Quote Selected

Google Maps - Street View Reply #5 – February 10, 2009, 09:07:45 PM They have it that far in certain locations. They don't update it very often though. They are at least a year and a 1/2 behind here in Indy. Quote Selected

Google Maps - Street View Reply #14 – February 11, 2009, 12:39:48 PM I can see my house from the street that it at the top of it (live on a dead end) All I can tell is no one is home. Went on ASK and their stuff is OLD. It is winter time and my car is in the street with all matching paint. This means it was between Dec 29th 2005 and April of 2006 (car was legal to park in street after that and was wrecked after 2nd date)Its funny how you can look at these and figure out when it was done by the changes in your community.
