IE 7 or Firefox?

There's a discussion on another forum about problems with IE6 and 7, and that it "seems" Firefox is faster.  Wondering if any of you have noticed this as well?

Is this a question that even needs asking? lol;)

Nobody, but nobody should ever use intuhnet exploder.
I cringe when I go to people's houses, and that's what they use as a default browser, lmao.

Lots of people think that IE is the only browser they can use since it came with their PC...sigh...

Firefox 2 for the PC. v3 hasn't been very kind to me so far.
IE7 for website testing purposes only.

Thanks! I mentioned to them Firefox felt faster, and it appears I'm not alone.  Not to mention, IE doesn't seem to support Java chat platforms, whereas FF has no problems with it.
