It really is tucked up, pretty good.There's a temporary pipe connecting the old exhaust to the new. It's d so I can drop the IRS without messing with the whole exhaust. At least that was the idea. An oval pipe on the passenger side in front of the rear tire was my first plan.According to the inspector, it's got to be after the axle and out the side or back. exhausting Reply #7 – February 01, 2009, 11:21:17 PM its been a long time since stock pipes came out the side. I think the cuda was the last i recall doing this in stock form. Pipes were exposed down the sides with a heat shroud over the pipe. Some do it and get away with it but If i were to do sides, there would be a fitting under the front seats so i could install the "over the axle" out the tail end pipes just for inspections.V8demon posted a pic of a really sweet side pipe exit recently.
