This got posted on my local forum Reply #18 – February 01, 2009, 08:26:55 AM 1 carb and 5 fuel lines coming out of the valve, that’s a lot going on. But I like it I take my hat off to anyone willing to hotrod our fox’s excluding stangs. And it looks good, he did it right as long as he’s happy, its his car. Quote Selected
This got posted on my local forum Reply #19 – February 01, 2009, 09:30:15 AM i actually really dig that color. its awesome. the detail work in the engine bay is obviously a touch silly Quote Selected
This got posted on my local forum Reply #20 – February 01, 2009, 10:38:30 AM personally i like the color, needs some satin black here and there to break it up. The engine bay is more confusing than my stock '83 cfi setup was. Quote Selected
This got posted on my local forum Reply #21 – February 01, 2009, 11:13:47 AM I could do without the color, but like I said, I like the hood. Would look killer on my car after I painted it to match (in black!) IMHO, LOL!Quote1 carb and 5 fuel lines coming out of the valve, that’s a lot going on On top of the junctions every 4 inches as well.It has a GREAT stance too. Quote Selected
This got posted on my local forum Reply #22 – February 01, 2009, 11:19:03 AM Excessive fittings aside (& does he really have the power to need an engine plate?), it does make me want to pull my engine and paint the engine bay black. When I show the car I'm always dissapointed at the "blah" look of the faded cabernet red in the engine compartment. Quote Selected
This got posted on my local forum Reply #23 – February 01, 2009, 12:13:58 PM I don't really care for the color, hood, or the schizofrenic plumbing job, but I do like the BBF under the hood. Quote Selected
This got posted on my local forum Reply #24 – February 02, 2009, 06:29:24 AM Those fittings look pretty functional to me. The only place it gets a little cluttered is where there's a filter in the line.Lime green.... well, it's not my car.I have never been a fan of cowl hoods. Quote Selected
This got posted on my local forum Reply #25 – February 02, 2009, 08:01:06 AM Seriously, it doesn't look too bad. It does need some black in it to break it up a bit. I would have changed the colors in the engine to match the body better, adding black there too. The owner will definitely get some oohs and ahhs at shows. Maybe not from serious car enthusiasts, but from the general public, I'm sure there are those out there who will like it.And, as was mentioned, it's not any of our cars...so, if the owner likes it, who cares?
