Productive day (dial up warning) Call it done...pg4 Reply #17 – January 27, 2009, 08:23:46 PM You should rock a Mach 1 hood on that car and take EVERY badge off. Slap on a centri blower and call it done. Quote Selected
Productive day (dial up warning) Call it done...pg4 Reply #18 – January 27, 2009, 09:13:32 PM Thats pretty much the rundown. scored a brand new OEM mach 1 hood on ebay. (in the box to the left in the 4th pic down). hopefully im able to sell the 2 valve engine, trans and mis. stuff to cover the rest. the V2SQ is coming off the 2 valve and going on the 4 valve wilth an air to air fmic. im trading the 03-04 cobra bumper to a local 01 cobra owner for his bumper. he is also buying my 03-04 hood. basically im working with a budget of 0.its nice to be a little busy with a project though. other than sitting around watching movies, teaching myself to solve the rubiks cube and eating too much, the winter has been rather uneventful. i cant wait for spring. Productive day (dial up warning) Call it done...pg4 Reply #20 – February 11, 2009, 10:52:17 PM QuoteWow, just like i have been doing, got done a couple days ago.check this out...........http://www.wrongway.org/cgi-bin/cube... 3326!detailedsweet. i've got it down pretty well now solving it in around 3 mins on average. almost time to step up to the bigger one but i dunno about that. this one is still fun.Any who. Round 2 complete and went fairly well and un eventfully. I finally got to tear into the other car. I had the red car pretty well stripped in a day. The silver car took me about the same amount of time but i managed to install the clutch pedal setup, pats module and key cyl, cluster and part of the cat back. The next step will be to take my time and clean/degrease the engine bay and get the car ready to be jambed up as well as clean the engine and trans. Hopefully during that time the new springs, clutch/pp and flywheel arrive. First 2 pics were from the day i "prepped" it. Also took a vid of a cold start from the same morning. (in case anybody is interested in the engine). linkie cause it wouldn't embed.http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b174/shame302/?action=view¤t=100_5398.flv Quote Selected
Productive day (dial up warning) Call it done...pg4 Reply #21 – March 03, 2009, 02:03:57 AM So...I'm happy with it. Sprayed it sunday and today i readied the engine bay for the engine. Had i made more of an effort to get that darn aluminum flywheel resurfaced i could have had the engine and trans in the car. Anywho... Quote Selected

Yeah, That will be the color of the rest of the car. I was hoping to jamb up everything on the car but i didnt have room for all the parts and i ran out of time and materials so i figured it best to do the engine bay so i can move along with the swap. Quote Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. I think that 2 Valve would be a perfect Fox swap.Heh. I wish i had the time space and money for it. There is a decent turbo coupe locally that's just been sitting. A local guy with a clean little 4cyl notch is interested in all the 2 valve stuff. It would be nice to see it find a home in something like that. Quote Selected
Productive day (dial up warning) Call it done...pg4 Reply #25 – March 03, 2009, 11:55:32 AM I kinda liked the 03-04 Cobra stuff that was on it. Is it going red? Quote Selected
Productive day (dial up warning) Call it done...pg4 Reply #26 – March 03, 2009, 12:16:22 PM No, Red car is gone. This one will pretty much look like the red car did but i decided to keep the rear 03-04 cobra bumper (for now anyway) and the 03-04 cobra mirrors as well as possibly the side skirts. sold the hood, decklid/spoiler and front bumper.
