Swapping to a sport cluster????

I've got and 86 with the base digital cluster so the gauges a mechanical in it, so what has to be done for this to work or is it plug in and go I know the oil sending unit is different but anything else like wiring

The wiring is completely different. You'll need the connector off the Sport cluster, and you'll have to re-pin it with the wires from your existing connectors (your base cluster has two, the Sport only has one). You'll also need to get a tach signal to the dash. There isn't one there from the factory.

Sounds like alot work I might just swap it one day but not anytime soon LOL
