I don't believe the driver didn't know it was there. If he didn't then he's a huge dumbass. That would've been throwing sparks and pieces of fabric all over everything. I'm amazed it didn't blow the truck up when the gas tank got cut open.

i spent 4 days cutting 300ft of barbwire off the drivetrain of an old f350 farm truck.  farm truck, i mean it was basically turned into a tractor.  made a fortune off that job but i still got scars on my hands from unforeseen tension.  the guy wanted it cut off and i tried my dest to salvage what i could but from the yoke of the driveshaft to pinion had to be replaced.  i didnt put faith in the rearend when i was done and told him so, it lasted 3 days and it was back in for a new rearend gearset.  i think he had 3 teeth in his head... :hick:

Considering the number of people I see every day on t6he interstate who are totally oblivious to what's going on around them, this story is no surprise for me.

i had one today! that was driving along on our main road(which is a hiway thro town), talking on her cell phone. i drove up  against the traffic and told her she had a flat tire. she yells"i do not and mind our own biz wax" at my son and i . then the procede to to leave our town on the hi way!

it -10 here. so i call 911 and reported a drunk driver leaving town with a damage car.  gave the her plate number everything.:D
remember it easier to fix them, than to find them after they been crushed.
