5 lug on the 82 bird of prey Reply #2 – November 27, 2008, 03:26:38 PM if you want rear disc brakes with that;1.easiest way is just get complete axle from a 1994 to1999 mustang.2.easy way is to get the both rear inner axle/rotors/brackets from 1994 to1999 mustang.(i use this way on my fairmont wagon and merc zephyer) if you want rear drums with that:1.easiest way is ford SVT or after market INNER axle and drum kit.2.easyway is get used axle and drums out of a ford rangers.3.hardest way is to use a complete rear from a 1987merc Grand Marquis or ford Crown Victoria and cut off the outter lower arm bracket and weld on the mustang lower bracket.(i did it that way on casper because i "didn't" like the rear tires so far inside the rear wheel well. ) for the front:1.easiest way is just use the complete spindle assemble from a 1994 to 2003 stang(use those on the fairmont wagon)2.easy way is get aftermarket 5lug rotor and 87to1993 5.0 mustang spindles(use this way on my merc zephyer) 3. have your rotor redrilled.
