Finally a pic of the 88

I've got Open Office on my laptop and I've been trying to resize a pic or two to post, and haven't figured out how to do it and save it as a .jpg

BUT, I've managed to resize one enough through other means to get one pic posted. This was the first pic I took on my 2000 mile trip back to Texas after having bought the Twinkie.

I'll take more pics after I get it off the lift and back outside. Until then, enjoy this one pic:D

I had looked at Paint trying to figure out how to do it, but never figured it out....

Thanks for the complements. I think I/we got a good deal on it. It had been on ebay, and I was surprised to NOT see anything about it in the "Leads" thread. Has a TON of rock chips on the nose, but since the spoiler is busted off and the nose needs replacing, I don't guess it matter much....as long as I can find another nose.

Over all, the car is in pretty nice shape. Upper dash pad is cracked, but is covered with a carpet like dash cover.Only other interior issue (besides needing cleaning) is the back seat bottom. It is cracking, and is the worst part of the leather. All of the power options work except for the driver's lumbar.

Plans for the moment are to make sure all is well with it. I'm working on the flashing light issue, flaky gauge readings with the lights on, make sure the temp is good (which it seems to be) etc etc. I'll probably replace the headlight housings, and would eventually like to replace the front bumper cover (for the busted spoiler) and the rear seat bottom (for the cracks).

When I get it off the lift (maybe tomorrow) I'll take more pics.

Btw, the low oil sensor in the oil pan is about the only leak I've found. Do I have to pull the pan to fix that?

I've taken pics of the underside in case anyone is interested. I am, cause I'm thinking there was a spoiler as part of the bumper cover, and is broken off completely. I'd like to know what this is supposed to look like.

Wow. I'm guessing that does a LOT to funnel air up in to the radiator while on the highway. Is that lowest piece original, or something added? And let me guess. I'll have about as much luck finding a complete bumper cover as I would winning the lotto....

So what do you think of the rest of the car? I think I did good.
