I still like the sage green, but what about Highland Green?

That's Black Jade.  Highland Green is more...well...green.

I've always wanted a dark green TC with the red pinstripe, red Cobra R center caps on silver R's, and red Cobra calipers.  I don't know why.  But I will have it one day.

I really like the color you chose too, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product!

I'm getting ready to go pull the rear bumper cover off and get it ready,then the tail lights so I can sand behind them as well.Then,this weekend I'll swap the trim on the doors from chrome to black.It's SUPPOSED to be 70 degrees this Sunday (we'll see).If so,then after work I'm going to work like there's no tomorrow.

are you doing the engine bay as well? id probrbly do it black or something neutral just in case your not as excited about the color after its done. then at least you dont have to re-do that if you re-paint it. i think it will look good though.

You will drive yourself crazy trying to pick a color. I like the Estate Green(on the Expeditions). Should be interesting to see it on a 'bird.

boy those are some bad color greens! that some thing that you would put on your Great grandpa 4door sadan:toilet:  , not a thunderbird! if you allready painted it,SO SORRY to be you.
that coming from some that love green.
 try the 1999cobra green or 1972 ivory glow on the mustang or theres one one 2005 ford focus.
remember it easier to fix them, than to find them after they been crushed.

V6 = juvenile delinquency!

Thanks for your thoughts.What color is your car going to be?I personally don't want mine to look like anyone else's.I want it to be unique to itself.I don't want a color that SCREAMS "look at me !!!".Believe me,the car will be able to stand out as a nice car.I've done a lot to it.My whole idea from the start was to modify the car,yet have it look as though Ford built it that way,not like I did it.I want everything to look "right".There are colors that a lot of members already have that make me want to find a unique color that will keep the Sport very nice,yet,hopefully,one of a kind.

I am VERY interested to see how it looks. My first thought is, unsurprisingly, "ick" but as I looked at that ebay expedition more, I wondered. I think it might actually be really neat. If nothing else, yes it will stand out very well!!! :cool:  I actually saw a rather beat-up half-primered 87/88 turbocoupe today on the main drag through town. NEVER EVER see any thundercats around here...especially not the birds. Stood out like a sore thumb...woulda screamed at me if it were "Estate Green"!

When it comes to colors,everyone likes what they like.If were all up to one person's ideas,there wouldn't be so many colors offered.I have three ideas,and I'm waiting to get to the paint shop and look in the books for the final push in the right direction.Whatever color I decide on,I'm sure it'll please me.I don't want the car to look like a race car,or hot rod.I want a really nice,somewhat subtle car.I guess I could loosely say a "sleeper".
