expert advice on dash with airbag October 08, 2008, 12:01:40 AM Kia Sophia 1996 with airbag on pass side.dash is pulling up dead center along the windshield sort of curling up in a huge area.I am interested in replacing the dash with a bone yard find but want advice on the airbag precautions and what i may need to do prior to dash removeal.anyone with specific information that generally applies to dash units with air bag? I could not clear it nor could the dealer, nor do we know if it would have deployed due to the problem.I think the battery disconnect idea is the way to go,, thanks shawn. Quote Selected
