C5 governer bypass/removal Reply #1 – October 03, 2008, 12:39:33 AM I looked through the list of 161 parts in the 84 shop manual for the C5. I see nothing called a governer.Some come with a "converter clutch torque converter". Depending on what vehicle they were put in. Quote Selected
