here are pics of the car, almost paid for and parts are a coming for it.

the chicken/

the plans:

Interior: mix of fox parts, blue and black in color.  race buckets (i'm getting them for free), guages, and a mild stereo (cd/mp3, speakers and a single 12)

Exterior: different grille, rear window louvers, paint black or dark blue, mk7 snowflakes (rims), lightly tinted windows, either a tc hood, or a stocker with a shaker kit, wing windows in the doors

Driveline:
motor:  1997 or newer explorer 5.0 longblock.  aftermarket valvesprings, edelbrock single plane carb intake, motorcraft 600cfm carb (the old 460's had them), H.O. cam, clean and shave the heads, shorty headers, x-pipe and duals.  msd dizzy and coil, factory duraspark. e-fan and hd radiator

trans: aod rebuilt as a wide ration with 4r70 guts.  floor shifter.

axle/suspension:  gonna swap in the mk7 airride, since they used actual airbags rather than the tastic airstruts, 3.55 gears, adjustable shocks, tracklock, heavy swaybars, 245-series tires

chassis: aftermarket mustang k-member, aftermarket shock tower braces (front and rear), k-member brace, subframe connectors

misc:  replace all incandesents with leds, hella headlight conversions, smog, egr, and ac delete

dont think i forgot much, but thats the list.  most of what is there is there for a reason, if anyone is wondering why so much stock stuff, well plain and simple its miraculous what you can do with factory parts....

ok, here is the gallery of pics, i had to use my other account.  http://s278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/theconstantevolution/bleeding%20chicken/

i have no idea why it has white leather seats though....  i hate the center console......but it is full length....gonna s the tape deck for a cd player, make a custom plate behind the bezel to hold the radio.  the extra half-din under the radio (or above, depending on how i do it) is where the switches will go for the airride overides.hopefully enough room for all the switches plus the amp killswitch (i always run my remote turn on through a switch so i can kill the bass when i roll past a cop. my cars usually warrant enough attention without adding to it....)

I was serious about the interior.  I dig the unique color combo.
