omage to carpimp

all I could think of as per replies in this thread were gonna be bashing on the carpimp... but i believe i executed this almost perfectly. Story started with my truck being the 8 or 9 different colors it was... to being plain jane flat black... well the flat needed a bit of spicing up so the bottom half of the truck went gloss black rubber undercoating.... along with the wheel wells.

Fast foreward to today.... I got bored and had some stuff layin around. and to top it off i always loved the R/T stripe on the older mopars and the new rumble bee...

combine the two... and we have this.

and i couldnt have a post in here without the bird and cat.... they are nestled away in my garage

now the reason i call this Omage to Carpimp is... my stripe was nothing but masking tape spray paint and stickers.

looks good to me... how about you?:hick:

You got some overspray past the tape lines....
Other than a good buffing to get the overspray off it looks good.

And it's Homage :hick:

I think it needs the pin stripe on both sides of the larger stripe, not just the back....to balance it out.

i havent really driven anything other than the truck this summer.... ive ran a tank through the cat... and i just put $20 worth of premium in the bird

it drives really good... just need to work some shiznit out.... cat needs more attention at the moment... and the attention it needs is cheaper than what the bird needs/wants

Looks good and how the hell did you know i was thinking about that for my wrecked 87 T-Bird "only thing i would of changed is the R/T out for a GT just because GT is more of a ford thing. Along with the Corvette Grandsport 2 small red stripes on the drivers side fender. last and red pinstirpe on one side and blue pinstripe on the other side. Then air bursh the trunk lid with some design and Lemans 24 hour style Euro number on the other side. Which i think could be done without overkill or at least without looking bad.

Ah got ya. Life would be easier if we were all rich. Money (or lack there of :hick: ) slows down most of my car related projects as well.
