The new "Blues Mobile"

I'm sure everyone had noticed lately, that I've been expressing my dislike for a certain Chevy Monte Carlo.
Recently my wife was at the car dealer with the kids, helping them find reliable tranportation. She noticed a car in the back that caught her eye.
I won't make you listen to the whole 5 page story, so lets say we don't have to complain about our car anymore.

Here's the before

Here's after

and here's more

Here's my wife hugging it

The Mark VIII's were built on a FN10 platform. They look like MN12's though

Thanks for the compliments, my wife is very happy with it.
I was thinking of getting her a bird, but we do a lot of cross-state traveling. this gets 26 mpg highway and very easy to drive. takes corners great at high speeds too. (had to test it. lol)

of course it has
4.6 with T-lok
It's probably the only car I've owned with a full frame under it, also
got a great deal, it will cost about $7,000 after we sell the Monte.
Its the 2004 Ultimate edition with the cosmopoliton and gold package. 24,000 miles on it.
Originally had chrome rims on it, but they were peeling, so ford replaced them for free with the newer style rims.

Looks better (minus the top) and quicker than the Monte too I bet.

I like it! Now what kind of undercoating does it have?
1986 Cougar LS

Its a lot quicker. 239 hp. the Monte has 200, and boy does that thing move.
it's not undercoated, which is good for me.
I'm going to treat & coat it my self before fall.
just a little rust on the frame where it joins the cross members and weld joints. compared to my car, it should be a weekend job. LOL
