i didnt really want to, but....

the didge really pissed me off yesterday, by spitting coolant from a few spots on the heads. it needed another motor and i didnt have the money for it. luckily i only lost a days work, as im off this weekend.

so, what's the next logical option??

buy a new friggin' truck!

i picked up a 2008 F-150 super cab, 4.6L/auto, pw, pl, pm, fog lights, etc, for $8,000 less than sticker. with financing i was approved with my credit alone....................

$0 down, $399/mo!!! :smokin: i had no money AT ALL! and this is the 1st new vehicle ive ever had. i am just ecstatic on how easy it was to buy a new truck.

and the best part......i dont have to shift gears anymore in Houston traffic!

Well at least you actually need the truck, unlike 99% of truck/suv owners that whine about gas prices.

Nice truck, I love the new F & E Series Trucks. They're great work trucks. my E-250 w/4.6 will haul anything with very little effort on the trucks part.
You won't regret it.

there's a few things the dodge has on the ford, and that's space.

the dodge had a bigger glove compartment, console storage, and foot room in the back seat.

but ill say it again..........at least i dont have to shift gears, like i did for the past 3 yrs with the dodge!

With people freaking about the price of fermented dinos, now's the buy-low time for anything with even a whiff of py mileage.

At least you need the truck for work and its rare that a truck or suv could get you better gas mileage but in your case i think it sounds like a good deal looks very nice to bad you don't have a job where you don't need the truck then you might have got a new Mustang GT.

You're right, if you're even considering a new truck, now is a good time to buy. They're dealing like crazy on them. That is a beautiful truck. Does it have a tow package or receiver hitch on it? I can't really tell from the pics. Or maybe you don't tow with it. Either way, sharp truck!!
