yay, i get to rebuild another 2.3t! June 11, 2008, 10:12:55 AM i started noticing a lot of smoke out the exhaust on my car the other day. i noticed that it was coming at wot acceleration and hard deceleration. when i got home, i did a compression check on it. the numbers and symptoms are indicative of bad rings. oh well... might as well freshen up the whole bottom end while i'm in there. i've decided to continue driving the car for a couple more weeks while i finish up on the ranger... so i still have something to drive every day. it sure is a good thing i've done this about eleventybillion times already, so i know what i'm doing.:hick: Quote Selected
