the female part of the driver side seat belt? grey
1988 LX coupe. a dressed up motor with full exhaust and BBK shorties with flowmasters, BBK CAI, accufab 65mm tb, HO upper intake, cobra valve covers.

5.0 HO 306 roller block, machined GT-40P heads, Wiseco dished forged pistons, Eagle forged floating I-beam connecting rods, Lunati pushrods, ARP bolts, Scorpion aluminum 1.6 rockers, Comp Cams Magnum 266HR, Explorer intake, 65mm TB, MAF Conversion, 19# injectors, Ford Racing stainless P-headers, 2-1/2" cat-less exhaust w/ Flowtech Afterburner lers , SC AOD with 2800 BDR torque converter, 3.73 T-Lok rear, CHE rear control arms, full 2-1/2" frame w/1" jacking rails & seat supports, Rear disk brakes, Turbine wheels, All original interior w/ floor shift upgrade .......
Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D

I'm saving those for when my Sport is painted and I get serious about details.I do have a set from a Crown Vic (newer) that actually look like they'll work,nice plastic sleeves and all.

a seat belt from a newer crown vic will work on a 88 tbird?

The actual connecting point (where the seat belt bolts to the seat) looks a little different,but as far as the recepticle and length,it looks really nice,and it has the stiff little plastic sleeves.The ones I bought were light gray.I think it would swap over to our seats with little to no effort.Hey wait,perhaps I just made a discovery.

Hey vin, any replacements for an 85 bird out there.  I know one can get mustang ones pretty easily.  I wonder if anybody has ever tried it.

There are no inner belts with nice sleeves out there.I have already bought what was there and they are now gone to new owners.I'm ALWAYS looking for them.
