I graduated.

Well, it was five years in the making but yesterday I graduated college with my BA in Graphic Design :D

It's been really hectic these past few months gathering my portfolio, finishing off classes and spending more money than I ever thought I would all while working two jobs at 44+ hours a week. All of my excitement was almost shot down for me this past Monday as I got rear-ended by a school employee exiting a parking garage. :beatyoass:  Everything worked out with that though. So now I'll continue working my two jobs until I find something to get into and with an excess of graduation money, I'll begin resurrecting the Cougar this weekend.

Well enough of that. If anyone knows an available job or is in need of a graphic designer in the MD, PA, DE area, let me know. I'm very well qualified. ;)

I graduated.

That's what I'm going to miss the most... 3 words... warm - weather - rocks. :ies:
I worked most of the time so I really didn't get to enjoy the whole college scene. I'm really looking forward to being on a 9-5 Monday-Friday type schedule. This 8-8  Monday-Saturday that I've been doing sucks.

Nursing is a good field to get into. Money is a pain. I don't want to even think about the student loans I start paying in 6 months.

So ya think the long days are over eh.... you have a lot to learn young grasshopper.  9-5... what the hell is that?  Other than a comedy with Dolly Parton.  You're probably too young to remember that, though.  I hope it all work out for you.  Now quit posting here and get your resume out.

Here's to tank top weather!  Or a lot of sudden rain and a wet tshirt contest.  LOL

Thanks guys. I know I have no clue what's in store for me and may have a rude awakening when I land a "real" job. I have a lead and solid connections at one of my jobs with the company where I've been 3 1/2 years. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they have a spot for me.
