Not really an update, car is still in the shop since we had crazy snow all month. Exhaust still isn't done being welded. I am going crazy. :punchballs:

What engine mods do you have done? Just h.o. mass air upgrade?

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Yeah, the engine mods are basically 5.0 HO transplant, mass air conversion, cold air intake, that's about it. What gets the car moving is really the 4.10's and the shift kit in the tranny. The exhaust is finally all welded up and done and I got to take my baby home! It was still beautiful out by the time I got done work ( after 6pm) and I drove pretty much all night long! There are plenty of things I need to do soon. The smog pump is still connected, but the hose is just blowing out air since there is no tube on the x pipe to hook it to. I need to pull out all that  and seal off the tube coming from the heads. I have a smog pump eliminator pulley I can put on, but I will probably just go with a shorter belt. I also need to figure out what wiring got messed up with my sound system. Right now only right front dash and door speakers are working. That doesn't really bug me yet, since I am just enjoying the sound of the exhaust! Also need to see why my driver's window is binding after getting down about an inch. Hopefully whatever snow comes in the next 24 hours is the last for the season and I can start driving this every day!

Pretty much. Grew up in NJ, been in Philly since 94ish. Still have a lot of family and friends in NJ, so I am crossing the river quite frequently.

Fixed the stereo. Somebody goofed up the amp settings while my car was in the shop. Need to get new rear deck speakers... just realized one disintegrated.

New rear deck speakers & Dynamat came in from Amazon yesterday, so I will be taking care of that this weekend. Also will be doing plugs, cap, rotor, wires. Really love driving this again! Here is a little video of my driveway, with the soundtrack furnished by Pypes off roda X-pipe, Pypes 2 1/2" exhaust, and Pypes Violator lers. Just idling, holding at about 1500, then 2500, and goosing it a few times. Music to my ears!

Need some opinions on wheels.

Chrome with black inside?
X

Black with highly polished lip?

X

Both 17" 4 lug. Not going to go for the 5 lug conversion yet. Want to do wheels/tires and get the interior squared away, then maybe 5 lug somewhere down the road.

And a reminder of the color scheme.

The black ones....the top wheels are butt ugly and then some. If you get the black ones, get the 17x9 and 17x10. I had those same wheels on the Sport (in anthracite color). Nice looking wheels, and I actually kind of miss them.
