just had my Valve covers powdercoated today

I took my valvecovers to a buddy of mine from another board and let him powdercoat them for me...  here are the pics:
this is what he started with:


here are the pics he sent me of the progress:





I will get some better pics when I get home with them. (at the parents right now)

Whatchya think?

the first coat is called silver vien, then he topped it with transluscent blue...

Wow dude some freaky-ass valve-covers there! That's neat, before the blue finish it looks like it's made out of cast iron or something. Definitely unique I haven't really seen that style anywhere, let alone on VCs!!

Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...

I welcomed the dark side and currently am driving a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT plus, with a 5.9, Code named project "Night Runner"
Shes black on black, fully loaded, with headers, 180 tstat, e fan, straight exhaust into a cherry bomb vortex ler, full tune up, ported intake and T/B, MSD coil, and round aircleaner.
Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.

Dam ron a set of those just like that but in red to match my intakes would just set my eng bay off.
How much do ya think he would charge me??????????????

probably the same he charged me...  he is a great guy..  pm me or call if you still have my number, and we'll arrange something.
he even sandblasted the underneath of them for me.

hey,, whats up with the boss 302 lable?

Those turned out really gread man,, dont get blinded by the sunlight reflection when you pop the hood.

thanks guys...  the ponies I just picked up the other day..  they have some curb rash that needs to be fixed but they are in decent shape.

Sorry i posted that like at 1 or 2 am so all you did was get them sand blaster and powder coated? i know its not phootshoped and they look very nice theres a place in town that can do that so one of these days i will try it and see how it turns out.

no, with them being factory powdercoated, he had to take a sanding disc and sper to them...  it would take forever to remove powdercoating with just a sandblaster...

My block, heads and intake are going to him next...
