Re: question about imports Reply #15 – March 01, 2005, 11:19:50 PM Are you racing a 1/4 mile, or top end speed..........if your racing 1/4 mile , youd probably lose, like the other guy said its about 200hp.....depending on the models.....the ones ive raced with my mitsubishi mirage , stock engine with nitrous 50 shot, were 160 hp honda vtec engine, and i also raced a 195 hp type r honda too.......i lost to the type r guy but won the vtec honda guy....its makes alot of difference when it comes to weight too....my car was 300 lbs lighter than his honda...........if you definately have to race then i would suggest put everything in whatvere you can......change oil to synthetic , "theyre lighter" .....octane booster do help a tad bit ....ummmm OH! and remove all unnecessary items in car to reduce weight.thats all i can think off man......its going to be a close race! you got more torque , hes got more HP.........fire it up and lets see who wins eh?.......hehe...if only i can lend you my Nitrous....!Goodluck Quote Selected
